I help book Solent boat trips and charters on a variety of beautiful RIB boats, Sports Boats, Cruisers and Luxury Motor Yachts - all registered and inspected charter boats – ideal for Solent sightseeing, Isle of Wight excursions, or boat transfers to The Hut at Colwell Bay.

I ran my own Lymington based charter boat called Zen Dog for 10 years until its sale in 2024, building extensive knowledge of the best Solent boat trip destinations. My service is free to you. I'll find you a selection of available, suitable boats. You choose one. I'll put you in direct contact with the owner/operator who finalises the arrangements, takes payment and then pays me a small commission.

The vibrant, bustling city of Southampton is a great place to start a Solent charter. It has excellent train, road and plane access from the rest of the country plus lots of choice of hotels, restaurants, shops etc. The Harbour Hotel sits in Ocean Village marina where many of the charter boats are based. Charter trips start with a long, often sheltered and very interesting blast up Southampton Water which is always full of ferries, freighters and cruise ships. Boats then turn right for The Hut, The Needles and Alum Bay or left for Osbourne Bay and the Solent Forts.
